End-User Warranty and License Agreement

1. Grant of License

Refactoring.Guru has authorized you to download an unrestricted number of copies of the electronic book (ebook) in any of the available formats. Refactoring.Guru grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the ebook according to the terms and conditions herein. This License Agreement permits you to install the ebook on any or all of your devices for personal use only.

2. Restrictions

You shall not:

  1. Share, resell, rent, assign, timeshare, distribute, or transfer all or part of the ebook or any rights granted hereunder to any other person (see an exception in section 3.1).

  2. Duplicate the ebook (see an exception in section 3.2).

  3. Remove any proprietary notices, labels, or marks from the ebook.

  4. Transfer the title to the ebook or sublicense the ebook to any other party.

3. Exceptions to Restrictions

You are allowed to:

  1. Share the ebook with your family members.

  2. Make a private backup or archival copy of the ebook.

  3. Print pages of the ebook for your personal use and reference in connection with your work.

  4. Create and save bookmarks, highlights, and notes as supported by the program's functionality.

4. Intellectual Property Protection

The ebook is owned by Refactoring.Guru and is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws. Refactoring.Guru reserves all rights in the ebook not expressly granted herein. This license and your right to use the ebook terminate automatically if you violate any part of this Agreement. In the event of termination, you must remove the original ebook and any copies from all your devices.

5. Source Code Supplementary Material

Any source code files provided as a supplement to the ebook may be used under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

6. Limited Warranty

Refactoring.Guru warrants that the ebook files you are authorized to download are free from operational defects, meaning they can be read using a PDF reader, EPUB reader, Kindle, or other compatible device or application. If you're not satisfied with the ebook, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase. Except for this express limited warranty, Refactoring.Guru makes, and you receive, no warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or made in any communication with you. Refactoring.Guru specifically disclaims all other warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Refactoring.Guru does not warrant that the operation of the ebook will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event will Refactoring.Guru be liable for any damages, whether arising in tort or contract, including loss of data, lost profits, or other special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of the use or inability to use the ebook.

8. General

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Refactoring.Guru and supersedes any prior agreement concerning the ebook. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ukraine.

9. Company Purchases

Ebooks purchased by a company or organization are intended to be assigned to a specific person (an employee, student, etc.). For this purpose, the company or organization must purchase a license for each person who will use the ebook. Product licenses are not transferable once assigned to a person, even if that person later leaves the company or organization. That person can use the ebook on any device they own, but they cannot share the ebook with other people, except for their family members.
